Data We Collect

When you use Crime Detector, we collect the following personal information:

  • Telegram user ID and display name (used for authentication and notifications)
  • Monitored project preferences (which crypto projects you choose to track)
  • Subscription tier (Free, Pro, or Enterprise)

We do not collect passwords, wallet private keys, or other sensitive credentials.

Data We Analyze

Crime Detector analyzes publicly available on-chain transaction data, including:

  • Token transfer events on supported EVM chains (Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, BSC)
  • Wallet interaction patterns and clustering behavior
  • Transaction timing, gas usage, and value patterns
  • Known address labels from public labeling services

Important: This is NOT private data. All analyzed information is publicly recorded on blockchain networks and accessible to anyone.

Data Storage

  • Data Plane (local processing): Transaction data and analysis results are stored in SQLite databases on our processing infrastructure for real-time analysis.
  • Web Plane (dashboard): Dashboard display data is stored in Neon Postgres (via Vercel) for the web interface.
  • Notifications: Alert data is transmitted via Telegram Bot API to your Telegram account.

Third Parties

Crime Detector integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Alchemy -- RPC provider for blockchain data access
  • Telegram -- Authentication (Telegram Login Widget) and alert notifications (Bot API)
  • Neon/Vercel -- Database hosting and web application platform
  • Arkham Intelligence -- Address labeling service for identifying known entities

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

Data Retention

  • Transaction data: Archived after 30 days from collection. Archived data may be retained for historical analysis.
  • Alert records: Retained indefinitely for your detection history and dashboard display.
  • Account data: Retained for the duration of your account. You may request deletion by contacting us.

Your Rights

You may request:

  • Access to your personal data
  • Correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export of your data in a machine-readable format
